Not seen any thing on RE, am I being dim? only done a survey so far and keep checking to look for things and there is never anything there, could it be because I am new?
A few things to check first, when you log in and get on the home screen, have you a box on the left that says assignments and then "active" and "available". Are there any numbers in these boxes?
Secondly, have you checked "profile" my defined areas and made sure that you have set it up for areas you can cover (I put lots of areas that I might cover like London, Portsmouth etc as if I'm visiting friends I can pick jobs up on the way) it may be that there are no jobs in your area.0 -
The Petrol jobs advertised on the Alerts thread are only the rubbish ones where you have to buy two products from a meal deal and also a hot drink. There is a small fee which covers your costs with a few extra pennies and no petrol involved at all, so not interested.
Just thought I'd warn you all incase you thought you'd missed something when they're gone.0 -
Any idea who does nightclub visits? I've done one for RE but none since. The other half will only babysit in the evening if I'm "working" and I'm so sick of ordering G&Ts and wine at the pub0

hi there, doing my first job on Sunday and have printed off assignment notes, 15 pages! What does everyone else do? too expensive for ink to do this for job worth a few pounds every time, my printer cartridges are £25 a go. do you all print all this stuff or is there a money saving way of remembering everything you have to do and assess.0

Do you need to have a hard copy? If you have a smart phone you can use something like google docs or simple note to upload it to your phone in case you just need to read it.Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -

Keep a log of how many pages you print for each job and you can claim back 6p a sheet as an expense when you fill in your tax return.0 -
Some people view on their iphones/blackberries.
The way I do it is save the file as a PDF in case the MS company come back to me regarding the job and then jot a few notes on paper of what I need to remember. When doing the job, and you aren't always interacting with staff, I consult the paper, and use my the voice recorder on my phone like a dictaphone, talking about my experience, to help when I fill in the questions.
The more jobs you do, the more common things you automatically take note of.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

thats interesting about the tax, will have to start keeping notes of everything for tax return. Do you all actually use a stopwatch for timing, dont have one of these yet.
just realised have one on blackberry, have to figure out how it works.0
