  • I have a few shops to do tomorrow for TNS and does anyone know if you can use a coupon on your shop, it doesn't say you can't but nor does it say you can, and I don't want to jeopardise a re-shop. I'm new as a poster but been a follower of this forum for a month and so far admire the persistent work and help around on this board.

    Regards in advance.

Anyone else worried about the snow forecast for tomorrow, I'm worried about going over the cotswolds tomorrow morning could be tricky. :)

    URGENT HELP
Is there any chance anyone has a photo of the book shop in St Andrews please? Tried google but it has a postcard display outside, so obviously not a winter pic.
Or is anyone there by tomorrow that could take one for me? Don't really fancy going back as it's a bit of a trek.
Did a shop and my camera died on me?
    Many many thanks

    Client name!!! ;)

StabiloBrillo - I wouldn't use coupons. Some companies will use any excuse to not pay you.

Also, I'm looking forward to the snow tomorrow! Should be just enough at the right time to close work giving me a SNOW DAY! WHOOOOOO! It better be enough anyway

I see ESA have took another £1 off the fee for the forecourt jobs :(

Plus you have the extra idiot question to ask. Bad enough in a proper egg store but in a forecourt? :(

I liked the egg jobs. One of the few waves where i could fit in a nice circuit. Getting less and less likely now. Fees going down and fuel costs going up. Plus you have to do more for the money.... take photos and ask unlikely questions. Might only be another 5 or 10 minutes to do that but if you have a circuit of 6/7 shops then that could be an extra hour. Which is maybe a shop or two less than I could have done before. Some of the more isolated shops could be hanging around for even longer than usual.

There's a lot of bookshops in St Andrews, being a university town. I wasn't saying who the MS co was though
  • Thanks Lil_me, I was meant to ask this before but how about the use of gift cards?, surely more acceptable than the use of coupons. Has anyone tried it, will try to email TNS and see what the response is. Just I have a few hanging about and I'm not the person who carries a whole lot of change around yet not the person who want's all these small MS transactions on my statement. Haha I'm a fussy person, maybe just looking to simplify MS
  • Hello
It was mentioned late last year but I can't remember who's local.
We're having a little coffee meeting for those local to or somewhere near Altrincham next week. Just so we can put some faces to names and maybe in the long run help each other out as others have done on this forum.

PM me if you're interested in joining us and I will give you details of date and venue.
  • Well i haven't seen any of the last FIVE re alerts :(

I suppose they shall pop up as soon as i'm not looking.

Me either :( Either they weren't for my region or someone is pinching them before I get there :(

Is mileage still fixed at 30p (I think) or will HMRC allow a little bit more now?

    Many thanks
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

It's 40p/mile, up to a maximum which I forget but it's something like 10,000 miles. Above that it's less.
  • I have recently become a member of what seems like loads of mystery shopping companies and only getting jobs from one of them. Not sure what I'm doing wrong and whether checking their websites at wrong time of day (evening). Any advise appreciated or any mystery companies that come highly recommended that I may not be part of.
    thanks all
