No - you'll just end up paying for information that is freely available on here.
If you really want to get rid of the £34.95, I can PM you my bank details:D
Here I go again on my own....0 -

The general concensus on here is never pay anyone to work as a mystery shopper. You can get tonnes of jobs by signing up to all the companies on page 1 of this thread. These clubs have nothing more to offer you, they just want your money.0 -
thank you all
ideally i would like to do more hotel visits but with RE you have to be so quick to secure and not sure if they do all the uk hotels0 -
Happy New Year. I started MS last year after reading through your threads for a long long time. I am slowly learning the ropes and have made mistakes along the way but I am looking hopefully long term and therefore are trying to me slow and sure. I am very very grateful for the regular posters who have been kind enough to give tips, PM's and share information it has been very appreciated.
My normal job is stressful and therefore I am looking to leave in the next couple of years but need income hence the slow burn of mystery shopping!.
Without the help and support it would have been very difficult to complete one job without breaking into a cold sweat and I still swear blind I walk around with a large Neon flashing sign saying Mystery Shopper!
The Upshot is a very very Happy New Year to you all and many thanks. I am hoping 2011 we can turn our lives around as the last two years have been tough for various reasons. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0 -
Ok, so I posted on one of the other threads, Does anyone know if working as a Mystery Shopper will affect any benefits recieved, i.e CTC or Carers allowance?
My husband works full time, and as I am at home with the youngest I may as well earn something for going out.
Edit: Happy New Year as well.:j£5 a day Jan 2011 £88/£155:j

Mystery shopping money is income. So you report all your income to the relevant authorities, as you would with any other income. They will tell you how much you can earn before it effects your benefits.
If you do decide to start MS in 2011, remember registering as self employed is the first thing to do, which means you must do a tax return every year.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

With CA you can only earn IIRC £100 p/w before it afffects it. Not sure if that figure is 100% correct but im sure if u called the CA unit they will tell you.

RE do ONE chain.. sign up with as many companies as you can on the first page of this thread a lot of them do hotels, in fairness the hotels aren't where the money is its a lto of work for little fee ((if any fee!!))
and RE do have a 9 mth policy with the hotels only if they are stuck do they bend on that rule!0 -
First posted on the wrong thread...
Hi I've got my first job for RE, and it says I have to 'View Assignment Spec' by 8.30pm tonight. I've read and printed both the notes and the questionnaire but the step still is not shown as completed. Is there anything that I've missed and will I lose the job if I don't get this stage ticked? The job isn't til the 13th so I can't say I've attempted the visit yet. Thank you!0 -
its fine... as long as you did the quiz and set the date your fine.0
