  • This isn't strictly speaking mystery shopping (so please don't shout at me for posting this), but I do it as and easy addition to my mystery shopping work......

An agency I work for is looking for seed addresses in certain areas.

Basically your address would be inserted into mailing lists (with a false name or company as the addressee) and then any post you receive as a result is sent on to the agency (they provide all the relevant envelopes and pre-paid labels). You are paid for each peice of seed mail you return. They do it to check that the companies sending the mailing are complying with the terms and conditions of the list provider.

It won't make you rich, but considering there's no real work involved, apart from a trip to the post box once a week, it's easy money.

If you are interested PM me and I'll give you the contact details.
The postcode areas they are looking for are.....

    WV – wolverhampton
    PA – paisley
    KA – Kilmarnock
    HX – Halifax
    IV – Inverness
    N – North London
    LD - Llandrindod
    BA – Bath
    BB – Blackburn
    BD – Bradford
    CO – Colchester
    CW – Crewe
    DE – Derby
    DL – Darlington
    EH – Edinburgh
    FY – Blackpool
    HR – Hereford
    IG – Ilford
    KY – Kirkcaldy
    ML – Motherwell
    NP – Newport
    NW – North West London
    PH – Perth
    SP – Salisbury
    SY – Shrewsbury
    TD – Galashiels
    TR – Truro
    UB – Uxbridge
    WD – Watford
    WN – Wigan
If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.
  • Gutted that there is Nottingham addresses there - I wouldn't mind doing that!

As a side note - could someone PM me the supermarket that GR do? I'd love to do this but not sure where to set my postcode to to see it :)

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Firstly could not see a Bham postcode and secondly I can't see any supermarket and wanted to set my postcode:rotfl:

Not necessarily - I've only managed to get 3 jobs from them in 4 years...!
  • gutted can't pick any of the Gap. Still on 2 quota. And can't accept any for March yet. I was hoping I could be cheeky as there is still a Feb assignment that if I emailed and asked if lift would be lifted if accepted. Dont think they'd accept that though - not fair
  • I'm positive god is against me this week. Had a week from hell at work and have picked up one job (telephone call) all week despite millions of alerts.

Looked for the petrol on GAP, everyone but mine is there. Typical. Plus i'm convinced somebody has move in on my patch as jobs that normally stick around for a while have dissapeared and i got turned down for the cinema audit when i've been allocated it every time i've applied for the last 6 months.

ummm, defo going to have a look for some more penny making idea's!

What area are you in? Hope its not me!

There is a fairly good survey site that doesn't take too long and seems to pay more - Vivatic.

They are petrol audits on Gap, so if you do those, you can't do the MS jobs in future...
