I emailed Bare about only being able to take one of the jewellery jobs and got this reply
Hi xxxx
Normally, we advise you to call and visit different shops, as the sales person might recognize your voice. Normally, for (client name), you can do 1 weekday visit, 1 weekend visit and 3 phone calls, one per scenario.
Kind regards

As far as I can see there are three different scenarios, so I have nabbed two more calls on self assign.

If this has been discussed etc in the last five (ish) days, please disregard it. I haven't had time to come on and catch up with the thread yetbut I thought this might help someone.

I got the same email about a chain restaurant. 10 minutes after they'd called me with an emergency shop for the same chain!
I hope they get stuck and call me in a fix, I usually do a few of these a month.0 -
Hi I did my second jewellery shop purchase today for Bare but I have just realised I did not print off a copy of the first one. I just wanted to refer back to it to see how I answered one of the questions, is there any way I can retrieve a copy?0

If you go into your shop log, to the relevant visit, you should see "view" as an option. If you go into it, the completed questionnaire should still be there to view only. This option doesn't stay forever though, it disappears a certain time after submission but I have no idea how long. My phone call that I did last Thursday is still there.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

As per Owlets advice, but you should also be keeping a copy of all your paperwork for 6 mths anyway, according to their rules. I usually save a .pdf copy of my reports electronically, to avoid a waste of paper and ink.0 -
I don't know about other people's experience, but I don't really like TERN. I apply for loads and very rarely get any allocations. My average rating is 9, so maybe that's why. I don't know.lalli_pickle wrote: »I really like TERN. I've had a fair few jobs from them and for the glasses jobs they pay as soon as they get the glasses back, which is great when you have to shell out a fair whack in the first place. However, whenever I apply for jobs with them they've always had an option which says are there any other jobs which you will only do if we give you this one (or something like that) and I usually try to apply for 4 or 5 jobs in the same vague area, Portsmouth for example (sorry anyone from Portsmouth, it was me). I suppose that way if they have someone offering to cover all 4 or two people who can only do 1 each then they'd rather go for someone who can do the 4 because then they're guaranteed to get done maybe?
To be fair though, I've had a good few queries back and my average score is around 8 so I tend to think I'm a pretty poor MSer, but perhaps my tendancy to travel makes me more desirable?
I love Tern, they are one of my fave companies. I don't get regular work from them as such (but I hammer the glasses jobs) and I do get most of the jobs I apply for. As Lalli says, they pay promptly and are friendly on the phone. I do the opposite to Lalli though, if they say the jobs are linked, I usually say I can do X but can't do X because it is too far! They link my two local towns with towns that are over an hours drive away for some bizarre reason. This doesn't seem to have affected the amount of jobs I get from them. I do pick up jobs in batches locally though.
