  • If you leave now you might get there for Saturday.

On a positive note though I have been accepted for the secret eating place. I kept meaning to apply and never got round to it. They look a professional outfit from first look at their booking site.
I've been pleased with what I've done for them. Seem a fair company and pay quickly too. If they have a hard to shift job they give extra points if you ask too, so you can get up to platinum quicker

I just asked how I could advertise my house on their site and they told me they only take listings from estate agents. I probably sounded really stupid :o

Thanks Beccles, ill do that. Don't care how stupid I sound when its over the phone. Sorry Misssarahleigh, its not an estate agent but a house search site that includes nearly all agents. I should have been clearer.

I don't know about other people's experience, but I don't really like TERN. I apply for loads and very rarely get any allocations. My average rating is 9, so maybe that's why. I don't know.

I really like TERN. I've had a fair few jobs from them and for the glasses jobs they pay as soon as they get the glasses back, which is great when you have to shell out a fair whack in the first place. However, whenever I apply for jobs with them they've always had an option which says are there any other jobs which you will only do if we give you this one (or something like that) and I usually try to apply for 4 or 5 jobs in the same vague area, Portsmouth for example (sorry anyone from Portsmouth, it was me). I suppose that way if they have someone offering to cover all 4 or two people who can only do 1 each then they'd rather go for someone who can do the 4 because then they're guaranteed to get done maybe?

To be fair though, I've had a good few queries back and my average score is around 8 so I tend to think I'm a pretty poor MSer, but perhaps my tendancy to travel makes me more desirable?
  • All the egg jobs in my area vanished overnight.....it wasn't me - honest! ;)

Are the queries similar in nature? Use them to improve and just think on a shop what is required and don't rush. I've identified my weak areas and try to work round them. It gets easier with practice.
  • Went to do a chicken job last night, not too local but had a couple of jobs in the area anyway!! The place isn`t even built yet !!:rotfl::rotfl: Have let Gap know as there were a lot of visits on the job board to the same site which disappeared very quickly...have sent them a photo of the lovely diggers, mud and visions of a general building site in action!
I have already received the email warning that my results are overdue...........:)

I usually only do drive-thru chickens, but I've got a food court one this week. Holy moley that's a lot of timing points! Far more than my gap timer can cope with! I await my new GapBuster T shirt in the post - after all there isn't anything more they can do to make us MSers obvious without one.

Thanks for that- I lost 10 points when I did a job on the wrong day :o and so my campaign to go platinum took a serious knock. Quite rightly of course! I love them at the moment, they are my favourite company. Good jobs, realistic reimbursement, a fair system of points which is transparent, nice people on the phone, a decent booking system, questions which make senses- its all good.
