  • Absolutely fuming atm! Did a pet shop for RE the toher day and coudln't get a proper image to upload and i sent them a query on it:

It was not possible to take one at this location. The only place that I could take on from where I woudl be seen through the main doors was in the middle of the entrance to the busy car park, which is obviously very dangerous. The car park entrance is straight off of an exceptionally busy road in Nottingham and cars whizz in there very quickly.

I then received a response saying sorry the image is required go back and get one. So I have to put myself in a dangerous position for them? I think its disgusting!

    Grrr.....

7 phone calls so far today from ESA..and there's still time for more! I know they are about death shops and I don't do them so not picking up. They really must be desperate..wonder how much extra they would offer, £1 maybe?:D

I am seriously thinking about coming of their books as this is verging on harassment. Now that the egg jobs are a none starter (for me anyway) there are very few of their jobs which I will do.

I'm interested, is there a particular reason why you don't do death shops?

Which pittance are you talking about? if you want to do more jobs for them then drop them an email saying you're happy to take on more work, they'll soon contact you if they have something urgent and they may even offer you a little extra.

Or you could sign up with other companies and actually earn something decent for the work you do, your choice.
  • !!!!!! is going on with the egg jobs? My area had all disappeared by the end of today - assumed some nut job had taken them all.

They have now reappeared as 'new' jobs -this got me excited as thought they may have seen sense and re-instated the reimbursement. No such luck...... :(

Anyone else seeing the same thing happen? Do jobs always come back on as 'new' jobs if people drop them? Can't say I've noticed before..

I think dropped jobs do show as new. Got a few 'new' ones in my area too. Somebody has obviously decided they're not worth it.

If they are willing to give me the old fee + reimbursement to do them, then I might consider it. But not at the current fee and not on a Saturday.

In this case, it's not a 'few' that were dropped. Nearly 20 disappeared this afternoon, now they are all back....
