I'm a bit new to MS'ing so I'm sorry if this is a dull question, just applied for 2 GAP Petrol jobs, however the reimbursement isn't enough to cover the minimum purchase?

But the stuff you have to buy, you would be buying anyway wouldn't you?

(Or if you are in Glasgow area - no you're right, you'd better release them !)
  • Yeah I don't think i will either but hey ho, its worth a try! They can only say no and it shows you are interested in workign for them!

    Good point well made!

Sadly, this is sometimes the case. Depends on the job I guess. I've never done a Gap petrol, but I have done a Gap breakfast burger and the reimbursement doesn't cover what you have to buy.
  • I suppose it isn't too bad to have a discount on something you would normally be purchasing but if it's a bit out of the way then it's not so good. Thanks for your help, hopefully something more local will come up :)

Nothing exciting about it. Trust me. And fill the reports in great detail for BARE, they are sending queries like RE now. LOL. They asked me what material the "silver ring costing £65" was made from. Have RE staff started working for BARE?

Yeh I get that feeling! Had a query today from an audit I did a month ago asking "what non-[client] devices were on display". No offence but the report's been proof-read, it's been 4 weeks and you expect me to remember???

Lucky I don't do too many jobs so could remember, but I wasn't impressed with the "respond within 24 hours or we won't pay you" add on. Seems they can take all the time they want!

    Couldn't agree more.

I have done 42 of these in the past, including some last minute/ enhanced jobs. I won't touch any this time round, and they will probably be hard for them to shift. Hopefully by next time they will be more sensible and all will be back out of rotational restrictions.

Used to enjoy a nice day out in the country collecting eggs.

I was going to pick up a circuit until I saw the fee and no reimbursement. The additional question is ludicrous (sp?), who the hell ever asks a shop assistant that?? What with that and the ham one........ what more can I say? By the time fuel etc is taken into account it would be a poor hourly rate.

Girl, are you sure? I am seeing a fair few in Hudds, with postcodes ranging from HD1 to HD5.

I ain't seen any in my immediate area. Not fair!
remember you can't do them/see them if you have done them in the previous 6 months

I want wf ones. And I normally see them just get an error when I apply. And I'm extra glad now. Wasn't going to take them with the quid less and extra stupid question let alone without the reimbursement. Like I've said before, they are worse than re for the money they offer for the work expected

Just reading about petrol jobs on gap. seems a bit complicated, sounds like you have to carry out an audit?!

It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world
  • The notes say you are only allowed to do one of these! I might have considered it if I could have done a few but for just one I don't think it's worth the effort (given the pathetic fee which will be even more pathetic once it's converted from euros!)

which notes is that please? looked on the info available before it assigned and it did not say anything about a max num. have not yet read full notes though (although did skim and it didnt jump out!) thanks :)

btw where in norfolk are you mrs gsr?
