  • I've just released a TNS supermarket job where you have to asses 2 diff departments - I hadn't looked through it properly until now, but by god they want a lot for their money wanting you to do both scenarios

I picked up one of these a couple of days ago. I haven't looked at it yet. I will have a good read through and see whats involved too.

If it was one scenario or the other then its fine, but both together is just too much I think

I totally agree, I let one go for the same reason, two items at great lengths is a rip off for the fee offered and a bit boring. These departments tend to be close in most stores, so if I was a member of staff it would certainly raise my suspicions.

are you allowed to take people with you on the chicken jobs for gap now? as it doesn't say anything on the brief.
I thought they had a blanket thing on taking people As they reckon you get distracted.
  • Trying to reschedule a couple of jobs until tomorrow and can't do myself as even though requested date wont change. Sent email to gap, no response yet.

    Do they work weekends?
    thanks
It might be a job to be done on certain days, often the pubs specify not Sundays or something, or if today is the last day obviously you can't change it.
    They don't work weekends

There is an alert on their home page when you sign in about this. It did say one of the reasosn why they don't pay is due to people having others in the car with them.

This is what has put me off these jobs, we have a few of these places near to us so would be easy money for me but they say you can't take children which would make things difficult for me as have noone to look after the LO.

ETA: sorry I was refering mainly to the burger jobs- oops!
You could hide the kids in the boot! OR under a blanket on the floor:D

Hmmm. Just done a coffee shop or REACT. Did not see PRODUCT OF THE MONTH anywhere. Did anyone else find one? What was it? Can you pm me please?
I've never found anything specifically called such, but the mixed berry low fat muffin was one when I did my last one a week or so back.

Quick question: would my husband be eligiable to do MS? he is a supermarket manager you see and I would assume that he wouldn't be "allowed" to do supermarkets but would he be able to do food places, so chicken and burger jobs?

    I wouldn't see why not.
The questions to get the job (I'm thinking of RE and Gap) do ask whether you have any relationship with anyone who works for the company or have worked there yourself etc, which he could answer honestly for the chicken, burger petrol ones etc that he hasn't/didn't
