I only have 2 assignments this week and they're not until the weekend! 1 of them is for Amber Arch and I'm still thinking whether it's worth it for the fee!
PS: I'm a bit tired today - stayed up watching Super Bowl XLV last night! Did anyone else?0 -
Has everyone got loads of work on this week? I only have 3. I want more!
I'm on a just-under-4-hour break from college atm and this is the first one in ages where I haven't filled it, at least partially, with MS visits. I keep checking the clock expecting it to be time to go back soon, I'm only used to an hour or so breaks without MS in them.lalli_pickle wrote: »I'd do the charity shops for free on principle after reading the brief. Now I'm intrigued, unfortunately there was never one anywhere near me for me to see the brief0 -

Its the main reason I've taken it to do it tbh. I think its awful! The fee from it is going to charity when I get it through though. I don't like being paid to MS charity shops. It feels wrong lol0 -
TMDC rejected my application which p*ssed me off a bit.Thank you for your application to become a mystery diner. Unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion. This may be due to your application not meeting specific requirements for the locations you have selected or the quality of your application.
Unfortunately we are unable to give any further details but we would like to thank you for your time.
Now I appreciate that they aren't advertising in my area, however they are advertising by my Gran and my Sister so 2 areas where I go to regularly. All they say on the application is you must be willing to complete your first jobs in these areas, and they should be within travelling distance - not a problem, my gran only lives an hour away! If I'm honest, if I got offered a job nearby I'd probably go and see her more often.
I know full well that my application quality was good as I spent ages on it, and thats not be blowing my own trumpet, but it just riles me when you spend a good hour of your time on an application just to get a ridiculous generic no thanks response.
I'm amazed that a company can advertise that they need people to cover an area and then when someone applies they turn them down.
Rant over....0 -
When did you apply lil_me? I applied over a week ago and haven't even had a response.0

The charity shop I volunteer in got mystery shopped and we scored 100%
We were the only branch in the area to do so with the next one down getting 63%0 -

I applied on Thursday, got a response accepting my application yesterday and booked my first visit this morning. They must have really needed people in my area....0 -

Quiet here too.
Got a supermarket and a regular beer merchandising call tomorrow. A department store on Wed, two audits on Friday and a drinks merchandising call on Saturday. Then a load of edigital stuff but I can do that anytime this week.
I've not applied to the secret eating place but I'm thinking about it.Here I go again on my own....0 -

Is it worth giving them a ring? I would to see where it went wrong. If it is a case of your area, rather than the application, you can state your case. They have always been really friendly when I have phoned them.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
