I just got a text from retail maxim there.... it says it was sent at 15.00 though.
How long after sending are their assignments usually available for? (Is it worth me phoning up tomorrow? there is noone in at the moment)
Oh and yay! I completed my first shop ever today.
I suggest you do call them. I always have my mobile near me. If it says RETAIL MAXIM, I call there and then. Their shops are really fun to do and the reports are uber simple unlike others where you have to write almost a thesis for each question.
Sorry MISSSARALEIGH, I pinched the postal drop one. Surprised it came straight through, normally they put it in pending.0 -
It depends on when you did them. If you had to do one, then go home, then go out again to do the other then you can claim for there and back to both places as the timeframes were different. If you travelled from one to the other then it's the round-trip mileage that counts.
You can only do that with claiming expenses from the MS companies if you are doing jobs for two different MS companies who both pay mileage, as they won't know about each other.
Excellent, thanks for your help :cool:0 -

They only do SPI checks for one chain, but do trailer checks for others.0 -

OK, so...
I'm doing a jewellery visit to a cat shop for abai and notice that gfk are also asking people to go to that shop to check something else so I sign up for both.
Half an hour later I get an email from abai saying that the clients head office has asked them to delay by 2 weeks as they're having a refurb, so I figure I'll do my good deed for the day and tell gfk, get that job rescheduled for when the shops open, everyone's happy, but no.... gfk say "OK, well the website says you can still collect items in store so are you sure you have the right store?", well yes, I'm pretty sure, there's only one store in that area and that's it so you figure they'd talk to their client and confirm? No! I have to go to the store on the specified day and report back that it's closed and they'll pay me half the fee. Not that I mind being paid half the fee for a 2 minute wander in my lunch break, but surely they'd be better off postponing it for a week and letting me go when it's open?
I don't understand MS companies sometimes lol0 -

Well done on the first shop :j
I would ring anyway. If the assignment has gone, ask if there is anything else in your area and sometimes they find other jobs
lalli - the store might still be open for business even though it is being refurbished. I understand the shops are having heavy work done over night and light work done during opening times that will not affect the customers. The counter you are checking for abai might not be there though hence the request to go back later. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Check out this link on the log in page. Almost wet myself laughing. Surrounded by high calibre individuals. LOL.0
