    What would you do?

Got 2 GFK homeware/fabric shops to do tomorrow but the snow's coming down quite hard now. Would you wait and see what the weather's like tomorrow (I can do the jobs on Sunday if I can't do them tomorrow) or would you deallocate them?

I don't want to let them down but not sure I want to deallocate them yet?

    I'd see what it's like.
I had some GFk a few weeks ago and because of the weather they postponed them for me. I did one this week and have one tomorrow. It's been delayed about a month now. What they told me was, that if I can't get there, it's likely no-one else will be able to either.

Thanks, don't think it'll be too bad on Sunday so will probably do them then :)

Am so glad it didn't turn out to be another big mistake to take on another First Tracking audit after the Fiasco of watching the same adverts for about 4 hours the other week! Luckily this one was only on 2 screens, pretty much out of the first and straight into the second! :D
Plus had them for another company as well, so paid twice to do the same thing! Result :)
Although not so much walking home in the snow at 10:15pm!!! Brrrr

  • I have just signed up with First Tracking and did my first assignment with them a couple of weeks ago. Is anyone able to tell me which other companies also audit cinemas?

If I could do more than one assignment at the same time, I could justify the cost of petrol to get there as we do not have any cinemas locally.

Do the fees stated in First Tracking not include a payment for the ticket which is then added? I was checking the fee list and the payment does not cover a ticket

For most of their jobs you don't need to buy a ticket iirc.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You don't get to go to the cinema!
You go to see the adverts before the films, then come out once the film starts

Unless you're doing an SPI check for them in which case it includes ticket plus snacks and fee. FT are one of my favourite companies!

No but I can tell you in Cheshire my car is covered in a foot or so of snow so should be fun to get to my real job today. Roads look pretty lethal. Good luck Jen, I know you guys have it much much worse up there. Perhaps its time for us to go live back in Australia as hubby got made redundant yesterday. Merry f****ing Christmas!
