  • Hi,

I have just accepted my first assignment with RE. I'm really nervous about it, I'm worried I will forget everything I'm supposed to be on the look out for! Has anyone else recently started MSing?

I started in November, and yes you will be nervous, you may even forget something important but hopefully not. What type of job are is it?

Anyway RE jobs are usually not too complicated, just time in and out, receipt and poss location photo, no big deal really. But when you get home you'll have a nice quick report to fill out, then sit back and think about your fee :rotfl:

Honestly it gets easier, don't fret about it.

    .............WHo says they get MS?

Pilot used to get MS'd. I did my local ones several times a few years back and the service was generally rubbish. Wonder why they didn't read the reports and change then?

Although I'm ashamed to admit I've helped people in shops!

I did today as a poor old lady was being ignored and not helped :o It was in a store that prides itself on customer service too.
Here I go again on my own....

I have never done an audit before and see Helion have a job for one over 4 visits through the year.
They say that it is extensive, would it maybe be too involved for my first one?
    Any views folks?

I can't see the audits you're talking about so can't have a look at what they involve. Where abouts are you so I can put a postcode in and see if they come up.

    I can't see them either.

Personally I don't think audits are harder than mystery shopping, in fact I'd say the open audits are much easier as you have all your paperwork with you! Generally what you'll find is that the first one will take you ages, but if it's a recurring audit you'll get quicker each time. So as long as you have the time and are happy to spend longer than you think it might take the first couple times you'll be fine!

I do an audit of 200 products undercover every 2 weeks. First time it took me 3 hours (in a very small shop lol) now it takes me 30 mins as I know where everything is and the list doesn't really change.

So I say go for it, but I'd be wary if it's a covert audit.

It's for a shop near Colchester, Essex.
  • Hi

Please can anyone help with my bathroom/shower invoice for the company who cannot be named?

I have deleted the email which allocated me a 2nd audit and the fee for my other one was less as there were less bays. Did anyone do a 10 bay audit that could let me know the fee?

    Many Thanks

I've applied for one of these too having never done an audit before, I fully expect to be turned down.

The job description says they anticipate 2 hours so I'm allowing 4 hours minimum for a first job. It appears to be overt so I wouldn't imagine it's complicated, more time consuming.

You could always send Max a message and ask?

    Does that help?
