How does a job on RE get taken (without being able to telephone them because of the weekend) when it's been released and is out of date, does anybody know? :undecided

I think they have some weekend staff that go in and they pick up if you call the general number or, I think they have a special weekend number as I remember someone asking for one a while ago. I have emailed them once over a weekend re a job that was out of date and one of them emailed me back on a Sunday and changed the date for me after they whacked it into my account.

PS. I always try and get very friendly with one person from each mystery shopping company. There is a guy called Paul who works for RE and I know he will reply to my emails as soon as he can. One of them called me once to give me an urgent visit and he ended up talking to me for an hour on the phone. LOL.

I need to rant about RE!

I took a sports shop job last night which last date was yesteday (store already closed so couldn't be done) I accepted the job and sent them an email to say that even though the dates had passed I would be more than willing to complete the job this week - I've done this a few times in the past and they've always rearranged the dates to allow me to do the visit.

I heard nothing back from them and just checked my RE page and the assignment has been removed! It add insult they've also deducted 2 points from my score!

Maybe its just me but does anyone else think this a bit unfair? I've been with RE for a couple of years and normally find them quite good but this has really annoyed me!

Give them a call on the main switchboard number. All the allocators are out for lunch so no-one is answering the shopper line. Or leave a voicemail on the shopper line.

It's a bit silly going out for lunch all at the same time. I've always had to work around my colleagues to make sure there's adequate cover. Grrrrrrrrrrr (sorry not in a very good mood today - must be PMT / PMS!)

You're not in Kent are you? I had one released before the 24 hours was up, so phoned them and they put it back on. The lady who usually deals with the sports ones is apparently off sick, so maybe it's something to do with that.

Also, this happened to me last month too, I took one that had been released, printed off the job notes and it had vanished (that one was in date though). They took two points of my score too. Grr.
