photoshop - help pls - file size

hi, new to photoshop, just (badly?) drafted a newsletter with 9 photos & some text - to my horror - its showing a file size of 47000kb, i've got to try & reduce to 1m to email out today - very grateful for any help....PLEASE

Try file, save for web, - set the quality to high, but reduce the pixel size to something better, try less than 1000 in height.0
