Renting With CCJS - experiences

Hi Guys
Im pregnant and having to move out from my rented flat with my flatmate and into my own flat this will be in 2011, im seriosuly worriedf though as i have 3 ccjs due to my own stupidity, I am currently paying these all of and will have 2 of the 3 satisfied by the time I move.
My question is how easy is it to rent when you have ccjs? I have previously rented from a friend and then i got this flat as my flatmate had no ccjs but i cant get a guarantor and i would in no way be able to pay 6 months in advance.
Hwever i have a great rent record and excellent bank recors showing at least £1700 - 2000k a month going in!
any advise?

Be upfront with the landlord or agent before they do credit checks and understand whether or not the admin fees or holding deposit is refundable if you fail the screening. Having CCJs is a serious barrier, especially when you can't offer extra rent in advance or a guarantor. Some landlords will not rent to those with CCJs - it takes a lot of time, expense and effort for a creditor to give someone a CCJ, its a last resort, and those that do rent to those with poor credit records often require guarantor to mitigate the risk.
Also, as you are probably aware, many landlords are averse to those claiming benefits which is your potential future situation, depending on maternity pay.
How old are you? When is your baby due?
Are you aware that a single person under the age of 25 (will change to 35) without any dependents or disabilities is not entitled to LHA to cover the cost of self-contained accommodation because the LHA rate is set to the level of a room in a shared house, not a 1 bedroom flat? Check out the rates on the LHA direct website if your maternity pay is low or you intend to leave your job.0
