I arrived home and parcel had not been collected , so tried calling back and no answer:mad: What do i do now ? i gonna call them in the morning , do i ask for them to collect it again and up grade the package from a 2/3 day service to next day at there expense or something else? your thoughts please

Parcel2Go are notorious for missed collections. They missed 2 collection days for me and I ended up sending everything out Royal Mail Special Delivery. They're not that keen on refunding you either, they even claimed they'd been to my house and nobody was there!!
Good luck with them, hopefully they'll redeem themselves..:rotfl:Don't blame me, it was like that when I got here!0 -
why doesn't people use parcelforce?! The best as far as I know?!

I have mentioned this outfit before.

Nearly 1000 pos feedback this month (1 neg) many of these feedbacks coming from happy returning customers.
I have used them for 5 separate parcels and they have been excellent. Answered my queries quickly (Office hours.)
They use DHL 24 hr service.
Oh, yeah - forgot to say - only £5.99 for uk delivery upto 31 kgs.
Mind you, you could use parcelforce and pay twice the price.0 -
Parcel2 go missed 3 collections out of 5 for me late last year and compounded it with appalling customer service-extremely frustrating, long phone queues and apathetic customer service advisors...they could not care less.
I ended up issuing a County Court judgement against them and they settled out of court.
Took my business elsewhere. I see their banner ads keep cropping up on eBay now....poor customers that use them. Think they are fine until something goes wrong.0 -
Steve1905, what's this all about:
"1 collection attempt, 1 delivery attempt, only."
What happens if they collect from you but when they get to the destination, the seller is not in? Do you have to pay another £5.99 for each return visit? Have you had this happen on the times you have used them?
Also note:
"Insurance included for loss or damage only, up to £100."
although they do offer:
"Insurance Top-Ups for high-value items"
It's an 0870 number to track your item(s)!
Still, with all that said, it's still an excellent price, wish I'd known about this sooner!0 -

use UPS who are extremely reliable at very competitive rates. Never had a problem with collections or deliveries with them.0 -

Good points you make.
On the 5 occassions I have used them, DHL collected the parcels and left me an on-line tracking ref. Having said that, when I used them last (3-4 weeks ago) that tracking phone number wasn't on the advert.
As for the 1 pick up/1 drop. I would guess the courier would leave a card and the buyer would have to pick it up from the local depot. Probably best to check with your buyer that someone will be in at collection address.0 -

I have just had another parcel picked up today. DHL picked the parcel up and I have been left with an online tracking reference.0
