  • Hi there Fishface, good to hear from you. Im up to £581.40 in 6 weeks  so am really pleased. My Mum has found an indoor car boot sale not too far away but I wont be able to do it till the New Year as DD is in panto and I will be very busy running around after that and of course Christmas . Just wondering if it would be best to wait till the end of January to do it though as people may not go to car booters just after christmas  Ive got signed up with a Mystery Shopping agency but again will be too busy with my FT job to be able to fit anything else in, roll on 21st December when I finish work for 10 whole lovely days :D. How is everybody else doing ?

Good luck with the challenge everybody :santa2:

Nice thread that I have been keeping an eye on, always on the lookout for more hints and tips. Currently saving for a cruise (see siggy) by ebaying, amazon, car boot and generally saving loose change. I find using a seperate account means I can see the amount grow, I don't dip into it as it a stand alone account and it gains a little interest too.

My savings accounts I try to sub by making small savings elsewhere, cooking by scratch, maximising my store cards (mainly boots and whsmiths with coupons on the discount and vouchers threads), subscribing for freebies to either use or sell on, using money off coupons in asda to save upto 10% off my bill and generally shopping smarter.

    Good luck all. :T

I registered with iBootsale and will hopefully fill my pitch this week with various items - books, CDs, clothes, crafty things ...

  • I'm going to join in this challenge (Am I too late?). I've got 20 things on Amazon, loads of books on GM and 10 things on Ebay. I aim to list 10 more items on ebay this week. I thought that I had sold everything there was to sell but took a more ruthless approach and have found loads more!!
I've been doing daily clicks on cashback sites and I'm hoping to get roughly £50 a month from that.
My target extra money this year is £100 a month/£1200 for the year.

    Good luck every one
