Do I need new fascias?

    Hi Auntymabel your fascias will not be made of asbestos it will be your soffits (underneath bit). Don't be too alarmed they can easily be removed as they are sectional. It is advisable to get new fascias after cast iron guttering is removed because the cast iron brackes leave huge holes in the timber once they are removed. Where are you based btw? Anglian are very good they are all over the UK. Hth :)

    The soffits are quite likely to be made of asbestos cement. Which is much less hazardous than asbestos and does not need a special licence to remove. If in doubt Google "Asbestos Cement" for more information.
    I can afford anything that I want.
    Just so long as I don't want much.
