Hi
currently have a creit card through hsbc
my balance is £3929.45
I have just paid my monthly min which is £117
however on top of this I am paying a £30.55 payment protector
and interest at 1.527 per month which worked out at £55 for this month. As you can see I am paying £85 or so for which I feel no reason.....I really could do with help and advice as of what to do.....do I move the balance???cancel the protector....???please help.....just to add I also have a £12000 loan with HSBC....so am I going to struggle getting a credit card elsewhere or ote....again please help

Payment protection is usually a load of tosh anyway not to mention expensive, cancel it.
Then move it somewhere interst free, have a look and find the longest 0% BT its on here somewhere
As for whether you'll get accepted or refused who knows... every lender has different criteria, you can but tryNothing's free.....but we'll see what we can do!0 -
Of course, balance transfer to 0% could be the best solution. Chances to get a new card(s) depend not only on you total debt but also on your income and your credit history (how you managed your debt till now).
As far as I am aware, payment protection is usually waste of money - just read carefully Terms and Conditions.0
