Current account that texts you on balance change

Hi
I am looking for a current account that sends text messages as transactions occure.
When I go to a shop and pay by card I would like to receive a text immediately to show the amount debited and balance remaining. I do not mind paying a fee for this of course.
Is this possible in UK?

Several banks will now send you texts with mini statements, and some, including First Direct, will text you whenever your balance falls below a pre-determined amount, or whenever you get a credit over a pre-determined amount. I don't know of any bank which will text you after every single transaction though.
I am not even sure if what you are requesting is technically possible anyway because not all debit card transactions are debited immediately. It depends how the individual retailer processes the payments, and whether they are done on-line or off-line.0 -
Not sure about bank account but the o2 money card sends u a text after every transaction:j0

So I don't see that you'll get what you want.
You could use one of those new fangled calculator things or a pen and paper.0 -
As stated above, the o2 card does this although it is a prepay card rather than a full account0
