Paypal limited account access

Hey all,
I recently received a payment into paypal from one of those cashback sites.

Immediately upon receiving this payment, I sent some money to an ebay seller.

The money never got sent, and on the paypal site I now see "Your account was flagged for suspicious activity" or something, and it doesn't let me send any money until I enter in my bank details.

But I don't trust paypal with my bank details, and I don't want to enter them in ! What can I do !? Paypal has in effect eaten my money, and holding it hostage until I give them my bank information. Surely this isn't fair !?!? What should I do?

Thanks.

  • I think that you have no choice but to give your details if you want your money - something to do with anti money laundering laws?!

https://www.paypalsucks.com and https://www.paypalawarning.com - both say, when this happens, its good night irine with the limiting of the accounts....
Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.
  • I had my account limited once and managed to get it reinstated after complying with their requests - it was a pain in the A** but it was necessary as they were holding about £100 hostage.

yep its something you will have to do to get your money, still surprises me that people accept paypal for payment methods. I've give up trying to tell people or warn them because there just too big ordinary people on ebay believe the hype.

what can you do, I would definatley check those two websites or some threads on there make some very good reading.
