Hi, can anyone recommend a website to create a website logo?
I'm in the midst of working on a website for an artist and I can't seen to create a decent logo
I deally I want to put his name next to a small image from one of his paintings maybe blur it in if that makes sense but I'm struggling to create something that works!
Can anyone offer any ideas please of where to try?

Ask the artist to do one then scan it and use the result.0

use photo sphop or as the other guy suggested get him to draw and outline nad you can fill it in in photoshop
whats the site its difficult to tell without seeing the layout0 -
I've got loads of improvements ready to make to the site but the logo is causing me issues.
I want to use the name Dean Ashby Arts with the small blue sheep image but getting something to look decent is giving me a headache.0 -
Just a hint:
This site ranks highly on Google searches. If you are naming an artist (especially your client), you may not want to have specific words close by.0 -
thanks, forgot about google....0

Try GIMP (it's free). create two images, a text image with the artists name, and an image with the blue sheep, then use the GIMP software to blend/merge the amages together. Or create the sheep image then add the text in anothe layer/adjusting the opacity and see how that looks. There are tutorials on youtube to show you how to do this.
