some nasty kids got hold of her :( she made her way to the front door and scratched on it. When i opened it she came in and flopped down. Sounds grosse but her eye way hanging out and the blood was pouring out. I scoped her and little son up and we were straight to the vet. I was all prepared to have her pts but vet saved her but she had a skin graph over her eye that shrank a bit over time. She then lived for almost 8 years after that.

  • OMG that's just awful, did they catch who did it to her? I do not understand why people do that to animals, bless her, she did well to get home to you, and showed whoever did it to her, living for a further 8 yrs!!

sadly no but if i had have gotten hold of them grrrrrrr
awwe she was the bestest puddy in the whole world and really suffered but came through it so well.
I had a walk in ticket to the vet every other day for 1 month and to make sure the graph didnt burst and then a further every week for 4 after that while she had the cone on.
I was sad to loose her in Feb 10 as she was a fighter and a great little buddy too

OP sorry to have hijacked your thread x

Sounds like a real fighter and a lovely cat, they really are good companions. It wasn't until I got my kitty that I realised just how much of a personality they have. Most people think that cats are aloof and independent but my kitten has a little character all of her own.
