Why have some deals been removed?

Hi
Im a little confused.

I have posted deals in the last week from

Last Minute
Cruise
Thomas Cook
Jetline Cruises

They are all valid deals but the ones from Cruise have been deleted?

It takes time to source these deals from different companies so im wondering why they have been pulled?

You would need to contact Abuse and ask them.
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Thanks DMG.

Do you know how I do that?

Why has my post/thread been removed without telling me?
Posts/threads are deleted so we're no longer "publishing" them. While you may have posted it once we are made aware of it - we are legally liable too as the publisher. When something is deleted, it's removed from public view but it's still viewable by the Forum Team and can be reinstated if it needs to be. It won't show up in a forum search.
We never contact people when their posts are deleted. The sheer numbers of posts removed every day means it's simply impossible to contact everyone.
The Forum Team won't respond to aggressive emails demanding to know why a post/thread's been removed but if you send them a polite email asking, they may review or explain the decision where possible (sometime legal reasons prevent this).

Just noticed that the NCL cruise thread you started yesterday has disappeared this morning. What the hell is going on on these boards? Perhaps no-one wants cruise deals posted? I reckon you have a genuine grievance here Mr W.

I think it is bang out of order when threads can just be removed without any explanation whatsoever. There was nothing controversial about the thread (at least, not at 8 am this morning). So what's going on?

Wasn't the deal another cruise.co.uk one? Their staff have been spamming the boards pretending to be regular posters; perhaps there's now a zero-tolerance approach to their deals as a result.

Thanks for that Mands. A little explanation was what was needed. Shame the deals are banned though as they have some good ones, as do many other agents.

Perhaps this is the reason all of your other deals disappeared Mr W? Personally, if you find any good deals at cruise.couk perhaps you could pm me. I would hate to miss a good deal due to a petty rule.
  • To be honest I haven't seen that many deals from cruise.

As i mentioned above I have posted deals from multiple companies and just go where the deals are.

I appreciate the rules but its just getting a little crazy. I sent an email to the abuse team but didn't hear anything back.

Make syou think if its worth it........
  • Happened to me as well. Posted some offers on digital cameras in past and it disappeared..
