Dimplex Ascari Electric Boilers

Does anyone have one of these new boilers, friend has just moved into a new place with one of these fitted and has a small electric water tank fitted side by side to this and is worried that this boiler might be as efficient as her old Vaillant combi gas boiler...

i think as the building is new and fully up to date insulation and energywse this boiler will be ok...any thoughts on this

    The electric boiler will be 100% efficient, however the price of electricity is 3 times as much as gas, so it will cost more to run than an equivalent gas boiler.
    That gum you like is coming back in style.
