Car damaged in car wash

Most people don't realise that these mechanical car washes to leave 'swirl marks' on your car's paintwork. I'm not massively car proud as anyone who glimpses my car will tell you, but I'm assuming that the marks left by these car washes will become more visible with continued use.

I can say that as the bars are wider it does cause you to not be centrally located between them as there is no 'snug' fit If you get what I mean?
This being the bars on the floor to guide you in so effectively not enabling you to be centrally located if you car chassis is not the same width.

I would take the money,I bet they have reams of small print somewhere,

I have never used these types of wash since working on a site where a worker got peed off by the bosses,

when it was dark he tied loads of nuts into the roller brushes on a friday JUST before the bosses used it when going home,by god the mess:eek:

Wondered if the OP had any joy with this - my car currently has £2500 worth of damage due to a car wash. My insurers are useless, and the garages insurers are denying liabiilty on their behalf!
