I'd like to make a sort of multimedia journal / diary on my computer to organise my photos and video clips - but I'd also like to add comments and text. I have young children and things move so fast I'd like to have a way to remember everything!
I've look around but can't find anything that does what I want. I'd really like it to look like an old fashioned diary but onscreen. I'd also like it either to be printable, or in a future-proofed format (ie so I don't find that in a few years it becomes obsolete and I have lost all my memories!)
Can anyone suggest anything. It needs to be easy to use and cheap or free!!
Thank you!

How about lookoing at the Windows Live blogging tools (have a look for them on live.com) for a partly offline partly online solution, and well integrated once you're set up. Oh, and totally free as I remember!0
