OP - assuming you're looking for quality unit, look at Naim Audio first, or if you want something less weighty on the wallet, then possibly Logitech's Squeezebox Touch.

A browse around a specialist forum, such as avforums.com, might get you more focused advice.

There's a review of half a dozen DACs in HiFi Choice this month, from £300-£1028, most of which have USB connectivity, but with a Type B USB socket on the rear panel, apparently with the intent that they connect to a NAS or similar device, rather than USB sticks (with typically Type A plugs)

However, assuming that you copied the music onto USB stick or SD card from somewhere else (your PC?), then there's a whole raft of solutions which will connect via a home network and play back directly from your PC (some will do this wirelessly too), but this requires you to have the PC running whilst you listen.

There's also solutions which, if you copy your music to a portable USB Hard Drive, will play it back from there.

!!!!!!, I wouldn't be pointing the OP at them if I hadn't - A - looked at their website recently, and - B - seen reviews of their product in the recent HiFi mags, and - C - been in a Naim dealership in the last week or so.

Can't you just connect your PC to your Amp?

Because the PC is in another room, or on another floor, and because the OP wants to connect a flash drive because it has no fans or other moving parts, and therefore won't interfere with actually listening to the music....??

Or maybe the OP doesn't have a PC, and is getting the music from someone else....?
