Hi...all you knitters can you please help me with this pattern...I know its not strictly flying or a weekend but iits a xmas pressie
here goes its a baby cardigan knitted sideways in one piece
shape neck and right front
cast on 50 st.
1st row (neck edge) KNIT
Starting with a purl row work 6 more rows in st-st
Work 4 rows inc 1st at neck edge in every row(54) st.....the question is do I increase at the beg or end of the row.
I can knit anything usually but this isnt making sense....cottonwool brain xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I've read this several times and can't make sense of it either, sorry. Edit - I think you increase at the beginning of a knit row and the end of a purl row.Afternoon all,
Big hugs Jassa, what an awful thing to happen.

Hi everyone,
Busy day at work doing nothing - so annoying.......
Have come home to cat number 3 with a sticky eye. She let me wipe it with a tissue, and doesn't seem to be bothered by it, but she is closing it. I will 'wash' it later when DH is home to help. I'll see how she is in the morning, but she is going to the vets anyway on Friday for her annual jabs and check up (only 2 months overdue-oops!)
Jassa - my sympathies. Hope you get it all sorted
Shysarah - great news. Shall I buy a hat?
Anyway - here's my list......
Monday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
Level One
Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins!
Level Two
Declutter floors
Extras
Wrap all the presents for family/friends
Finalise shopping orders/lists for your christmas food shop.. remember shops are only closed for one day!!!!
My list
Menu until 27th
Iron
e-mail photos to R&D

sew button on coat
book dentist

Friday morning – take H to vetsYesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift
That's why we call it 'The Present'0 -

OH has just informed me that he wants to come over this evening, but is feeling grumpy, has had a crap day, and might be coming down with a cold... do I really want him to come over??
Some presents wrapped. I have lots of things, but haven't worked out what to give to who. I need to be ruthless and use the stuff from my present drawer and NOT buy anything else!
Cards pretty much done... at least if OH comes over he can sign the ones he needs to and then I can get them posted. Hopefully I can ignore him for the rest of the time, or make him do the ironing or something...0 -
Oh well, didn't get round to today's list.
The bloke has decluttered a lot of emotional baggage in my face at full volume. Including a lot of rather unpleasant personal insults.
He then decluttered his clothes into two cases, into his car and drove off.
I, however, having done a bunch of online shopping last night whilst waiting for the washing machine to finish, have been shopping, bought a bunch of clothes for myself, some Xmas pressies for DD and some general everyday stuff.
Plus put the tree lights up for DD to decorate it this evening when she gets in (will hopefully distract from his absence).
Once she is in bed, I shall tidy up the half tub of Phish Food ice cream currently sitting in the freezer, and quite possibly a couple of drinkies, when I cleaned up a second hand beside set of IKEA drawers that someone had put out free to a good home.
Season's GreetingsI could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Cards posted, Dinner on and art cupboard cleaned out and LOTS put in the recycling bin.
Going to have some food in a mo and do HHI at 5:15......join me if you can......xx0
