One way you can resolve this is to get a special delivery bag from the post office (it's free) and then just turn it inside out.

Do you think they a suitable size for a large item of clothing?

I did ask in my post office but they don't give them out free, you have to pay for them and they have different sizes.
To get free ones you need to sign up online I was told, but hope that helps you.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I have seen them in Wilcos but not sure of price or size. I have used blue rubble bags from poundland too. Post office should give them away for free, just ask at a different branch. You pay for the prepaid ones yes.

My post office will give out 'free' special delivery bags but will then only accept them if you are going to use them for special delivery items. They are even bright enough to see that it is a special bag even inside out as the plastic is much thicker and courser than the usual plastic mailers.
