Zanussi washing machine problems

hi ...... any help appreciated.

I have a Zanussi FJDR 1466S washing machine and having a few problems.

I switch the machine on and the door lock starts clicking straight away. I shut the door it locks ( without any programme being set ). I can set the programme but nothing happens.

Anyone have any ideas ????

Have you checked you have water coming in?
Also, you mentioned clicking away, did you just mean the door, or is the washing machine clicking? I had the problem once and it was because the pump was blocked. It's usually easy to check by unscrewing the pump cleaning pipe behind the square mini door at the front. There may be a bit of water flowing out when you unscrew so have a bowl/wipes ready.

Thanks for the reply Eneia... pipes are ok, checked the pump at the front and thats ok.

Its the door thats clicking, but i can still program the washer for a cycle it just doesnt start when i press start.
