Could we not just get the deeds changed so that the Midlands house is in the mothers name only, I do not care tuppence for the place and could not care less if I never see it again, I only own a fraction of it anyway. Not for any tax dodge reasons or anything like that, more literally for my own sanity. As they say "there is no place like home" and the Rhyl house is home, I would be much happier back there, and because the mother cannot sell it, she would have money coming in from what I pay her in rent. She does not claim any form of benefits, only here state pension and her disability allowance etc, no pension credit or council tax, never has, we always provide for ourselves, well upto now anyway.0

Hello, may I make a suggestion? As you are very unhappy where you now live, ask your mother if you can have her house in wales rent free for six months with you paying the council tax. This will give you time to find a job and a lodger, then you can start to pay your mother a proper rent.
This should make your mother happy knowing that you are happy and that her house is being looked after and that she is getting an income from it.
Has you will not be claiming housing benefit there will be no problems for you or your mother. That way you will be living where you want and so will your mother and you will be able to visit each other from time to time.

Your mother would have to buy your share for somewhere near it's market value. Just how big is the fraction of the share you own? What's it worth?
