Cold radiator

Have a radiator that will not heat up.....have tried bleeding it but the nut seems seized or perhaps "wrung", have tried turning lockshields off on all other rads and "forcing" water into the faulty one....nowt, the pipes leading to and from the radiator are both stone cold.
Have had the trv off and while the pin doesn't move up and down freely, i vice-gripped it to the "open" position.
Is it simply a case of replacing the radiator or does the fact that the feed and return pipes are both cold mean that theres a blockage of some sort stopping water getting to that particular radiator?

Replacing the radiator...what for... if the pin is stuck down then lubricate it. If the nut won't budge get a better tool.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Are you sure that both the radiator valves are open?
There is nothing in a radiator to go wrong.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
Both valves are definitely open and lubricant [wd40] hasn't worked on the pin, it'l push down ok but needs gripped to get it back up to the "open" position.....neither of those issues would explain why the pipes are cold though, so presumably theres some sort of blockage in the system.0
