Opening a Santander current account

I know the T&C Santander £100 offer state that
However, I recall reading somewhere that Santander's systems were not linked to those of Cahoot - does anyone know if this is still the case?
If so, it means that recent/current cahoot customers can open a Santander account and qualify for the £100..

You are not eligible for this offer if you currently hold, or have held in the past three months, any Santander UK, Alliance & Leicester, cahoot and Cater Allen current account.

As far as customer service goes, Santander staff cannot service a Cahoot account, this does not mean however that it will not be taken into account with a new application.
I can't give you a definite answer other than to say, if it says you will not qualify you probably wont.
