1. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over (except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion).
2. No purchase necessary. To enter, go to www.slugandlettuce.co.uk/winaholiday and complete your personal details and the competition code on the entry form and click “Submit”. All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on 13th February Only one entry per person.
3. The winner will be electronically drawn at random on 28th February 2011 from all valid entries and notified by phone or email by 14th March 2011.
4. The prize is a trip for the winner and three of his/her friends to New York. . The holiday will be booked at the time a winner is picked. The holiday must be taken before December 2011, and excludes school holidays and bank holidays.. Return flights are from any London airport – dependent on availability at time of booking.
   
   The prize comprises:
   1. 2 economy class return fares to New York
   2. Accommodation for 2 people for 3 nights in a pre selected hotel
   3. Airlines and flights subject to availability at the time of booking
   4. Shared transfers to and from the airport to the hotel in New York
   5. Hotel accommodation includes breakfast
5. Transfers to and from the appropriate London airport, spending money, lunch and dinner, and drinks and snacks from the hotel mini bar and any other hotel incidentals are not included. Full details of the prize will be supplied to the winner following notification. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
6. The winner must claim his/her prize within 7 days of being notified. In the event the winner does not claim the prize by this date, the winner shall forfeit his/her prize and the Promoter may offer the prize to another entrant drawn electronically at random.
7. The friend chosen by the winner to participate in the prize must be aged 18 or over at the time the winner claims the prize.
8. The winner and the winner’s friend chosen to participate in the prize must be available to travel to and stay on the same dates as the winner These dates are not flexible.
9. The winner and the winner’s companions are each responsible for ensuring they each have a valid passport, are eligible for the visa waiver programme or are in possession of a valid visa, as appropriate, and for ensuring they have travel insurance and any vaccinations required.
10. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss and/or personal injury suffered by or to the winner and/or any of his/her friends that occurs as a result of the winner’s and/or his/her friends’ participation in the prize. The winner shall be responsible for any damage to the hotel or other venues (including their contents) visited by the winner and his/her friend throughout the trip caused as a result of a deliberate or negligent act or omission of the winner or one or more of his/her companions.
11. The winner’s name can be obtained by sending a stamped SAE to the Online Marketing Team, Slug and Lettuce, Porter Tun House, Capability Green, Luton, LU1 after 13th March. No other correspondence shall be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision is final.
12. The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so, save that the Promoter shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
15. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this promotion.
16. This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

18. The legal drinking age in the US is 21 so any winner under 21 will not be able to consume alcohol during the trip.

There's an inconsistency in the T+Cs:

I'll assume the prize is for two.
