To whose who are worried about Christmas gifts not arriving on time. Can you return items instore? Would it be unethical to buy the same items instore in case they don't arrive in time and, if they don't, return the online stuff to the store with your receipt after Christmas?

I know it's not really right, but it's kind of understandable as it is the same company and they really should be despatching things more quickly for Christmas.

I'm only suggesting this to help others, I made a BS order myself during the week but the items are for me and I don't mind if they don't arrive till after Christmas.

PRETTY SURE YOU CAN RETURN TO STORE, ALSO I RECEIVED 2 ORDERS FROM THEM LAST WEEK AND THEY CAME VIA COURIER - THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE THEY NORMALLY ALWAYS USE 2ND CLASS OR HAVE WITH ME, MAYBE THEY ARE USING COURIERS TO HELP WITH THE NUMBER OF ORDERS

Last year all my orders came by courier. I am waiting for an order from the 6th. Was dispatched on the 9th. But all my Play.com orders were dispatched on 7th and still not arrived.

Just wondering if anyone has received their orders yet? I have had an email through on the 15th to say that it has been dispatched, I am hoping it arrives before Christmas!!:o

I placed my order 13th and it was despatched 15th also... Still not received it yet, but they do say standard delivery is within 5 working days so may not arrive until next week all being well with this new bought of bad weather... Keep your fingers crossed!

I had order dispatched on the 13th - it arrived on the 16th via courier.

My order was for 2 candles (the glass ones) and a carbon eye definer, which was snapped in half, i'm amazed the glass candles survived and the pencil didn't. Anyway they are sending me out a new one for free and i'm allowed to keep the old one, which yes it's snapped but is still useable!
