So you spend twice as much as you would for a PC, run Windows on top of the Mac OS, lose the benefits of the Mac OS and run slower than the cheaper PC as you're running an operating system within another operating system.
Once you commit to a Mac, you go with the more expensive software for it, otherwise you can't afford it!

Running an operating system within an operating system? No you're not, it boots straight into Windows.

Correct, but why install an inferior operating system like Windows on the far superior OSX system?

I love one particular game that I could only ever play on Windows (no Mac equivalent) but I was and still am happy to make that sacrifice to move over to Mac when I did over 3 years ago now...no windows software or operating system would tempt me back...but the facility to run windows on a Mac is there, but I personally wouldn't use it, else why leave Windows in the first place?

    One reason: because you can.

Never used Windows myself, bar installing it 'just in case'
