harduphester, i hope it goes okay with the foster children, my aunt fosters a lot of children and sometimes it can be a struggle but she still likes it. For a while she looked after an adorable baby and toddler, the baby crawled onto me and posed for photos and called me bridgit! Didn't even talk normally, very spookaaayyy.
npm, glad it was a good day. made me smile readcing about DH and DS
Went to bed far too late last night and now I feel crummy and tired, but must crack on with lots and lots of work, I need to prepare an oral presentation :rotfl:
Lidl had another win yesterday as OH said their 39p/100g chocolate was "really nice, like galaxy" and would happily buy that instead of cadburys!! I think I spent all night dreaming about buying a coffee machine and panini grill from thereIf the messy flatmates wouldn't destroy the grill, i'd get it!
I know this is a bit odd, but OH has offered me a choice for my christmas present and they're really different and I am terrible at choosing! Either a lovelinks petites bracelet or this ring http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/3/9/0/5/0/9/webimg/430187591_o.jpgI like the idea of the bracelets, but it's a beautiful timeless ring! Molly.........I hope DD is ok and you get reparation for the scooter because they are not cheap
I have nearly been run over when I have been riding my scooter, people just don't look and as for being belted with bags etc don't go there. The one that I find really annoying is when you are in a supermarket and people actually run to get in front of you !!!!!!! But I actually see the funny side of that and think you sad !!!!!!s.
NPM.... DH's vow really choked me up he sounds like a wonderful man. I am so glad that you had a great day and I am looking forward to seeing the photo's (((((((((Hugs)))))))))
Well my news DD has got a job :j it is only for two weeks part time in Thorntons but she was so excited.
She has to phone JSA tomorrow and see where she stands etc. Funny that she went to her six week meeting on Thursday when the man doing the talk said that there are no jobs unless you are an HGV driver, nurse or teacher in this area
My freezer came yesterday and we only just got it in the door:eek: we had to take all the packaging off first and DH had to take a kitchen unit out in order to get it into the utility room. It is HUGE. I am going to get a load of stuff at the freezer trade place tomorrow.
Thank God it wasn't the freezer with all the meat in that went !!!!!!
Well I am off to get the dinner in the oven - Roast Beef etc with Apple and Blackberry crumble for dessert
Have good days all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning All,

OH is off in a few hours, I had an early birthday celebration as he'll be gone when its mine, and got a lovely CD from the boys - dermott O'Leary's Saturday Sessions, I am listening to it now, its pretty good. Didn't want any other gifts as I got my Kenwood last month.
OS wise, I am making decorations, will bake some cookies in a mo for OH to take with him, and we'll put the tree up once he's gone. He's up taking it out of the loft as we speak.
Hope you have a good day everyone.

i am finally tackling the kitchen. just one surface and corner to tackle. i stupidly saved the worst corner til last
as soon as the washing machine has finished will get there and sort it. tbh i think most of it can be thrown away except the two christmas presents that are there (no idea how they ended up there
) then its just the floor that needs a thoroughly good scrub.
i will get on top of it all before christmas"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
Goodness the thread is quiet today!!!
Table top sale wasn't greatOnly made £18 and had to pay £8 for the table. It was one of the quietest they've ever had  Just bleedin' typical!
Anyway it's over and done with so I shall focus on present wrapping and housework from now on
Molly - That's shocking of the driver giving you verbal. Glad your DD is OK.
NPM - sorry I did miss your post Friday nightYour H's words were lovely though to Noah.
Butterflybrain - well done to your DD on her part time job. Be nice if it could be something permament - perhaps that's what the job centre meant when they said no jobs, thinking of non-seasonal jobs??
Adelight - I'd go for the ringIt's beautiful

Evening all
Gosh the thread has been quiet all weekend!
I've had a lovely Sunday. I went to town to get few presents and met up with my friend. Bumped into one aunt in town, had quick chat. Then we had lunch with another friend, then I went to visit my nan. I took my nan a bunch of flowers as her late birthday present, I got the ones that look like cabbages! They are pretty! My 2 other aunts were at my nan's so caught up with them both too. After that headed to the out of town shopping centre near my flat and met another friend for coffee and a wander. Lovely day.
Did have two slightly annoying moments though. I want to get my parents vouchers for the local theatre for Xmas. I rung theatre to check I could buy them, and that they were open on a Sunday which they said they were. But it was shut  grrr.
Also, my friend who I met for coffee annoyed me too. She has a new boyfriend, and whenever she has a new man she tends to completely abandon her friends. We had planned to go away for NYE but she told me last month that she was going away with her OH now instead, but said that we would spend Christmas night together and have a girly sleepover as her OH was visiting his family. Today she tells me she is spending Xmas night with him . She is so flakey. I think I'll stop making plans with her for a few months! :rotfl:
Anyway I won't let either thing spoil my lovely SundayI've got leftover's for tea so will microwave them shortly as I'm hungry. I feel like a bit of a sort out so will have a bit of tidy around.
Have a good evening all
