Coventry 5.8% fixed bond to 31st Jan 08

Coventry Building Society has announced a new fixed rate bond here:

Minimum investment is £1000 and rate is fixed for 15 months at 5.8% gross.
Rates are tipped to go up over this period, but the next best one I can find at the moment is the West Brom B. Soc (5.65% until 31st Oct 07). Watch for more launches in the fixed rate bond market.
