Bah! Had to happen eventually!! Off the ball I was as didnt check account and they bounced a payment...good in that its made me sit up and sort out but bad that they charged me for the priveledge! Will have to be more on the ball; chatted to mum and weve agreed to try and do a semi food plan as currently both get bits and bobs ad hoc which is fine when youre on your own but not great when theres two of you! Plus we have lots of stock so will try eat through that! Bit hacked off but also been feeling that out of control feeling again which I dont like so in some ways a relief to have a kick up the proverbials! So plan is as follows: (again!)
1- Back to trying to build up nsd's
2- Sanwiches for work
3- Try parking but problem with that at present is that car park is almost a mile away and Im having pain in my heel again so this may not work all the time
4 -No craft purchases AT ALL until pay day

nice to see you about and that looks like a reasonable set of goals0

Trying to be a good DFW have checked the books....debts coming down but still couple of years to go! As always "could do better" with CC so tacking them with more enthusiasm...or as much enthusiasm as I can muster. Wish I could get myself to hate paying interest to the point that it stopped me spending on wants...any suggestions?Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! if only i did have suggestions on how to stop paying on the CC, that would mean i could pay so much more of everything else i'd be there already. If you do come across any please share.0

at least you know you can rein in the spending and you have a plan.
good luck going forward

Checked all balances and debt now under 18,000 so chuffed with that plus one loan finishes earlier than I thought! Took lunch to work...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
yay to the earlier finishing loan. Just think how you can use that money when it's finished you'll soon be bringing those numbers down.0

the loan finishing early will definitely help.0

A way Ive found effective in stopping spending is keeping a spending diary and a monthly record of how much I owe to all my debtors and how much Ive paid off. So, the spending diary has shown in the past how much I used to spend on sweets as an example over a month and calculating what that would equate to in a year is just horrifying when you work out how many hours of yourlife you are working to spend your money in that way. Recording how much Ive paid off simply highlights the amount of interest I am paying each month and that is enough motivation for me to pay my debts off as quickly as possible simply because its all money that could be mine rather than cc organisations!..
