Lloyds TSB current account switching offer

Hello,

Anyone tried taking the switching offer from Lloyds TSB?

"One night free hotel stay - online or telephone application only"
lloydstsb.com/current_accounts/switching_one_night_free.asp

Will it be valid to take the offer by switching an account which only have a few pounds, no direct debit, no cash flow... ?

Thanks!

Think the offer must have expired. The link you gave in post 1 goes to the main Lloyds TSB homepage, and this link:
www.lloydstsb.com/current_accounts/switching_one_night_free.asp (with www in front of it)
mentions nothing about a free night in a hotel.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
  • Arggh, they are so mean.... Obviously they removed the offer after I opened my account AND reduced the monthly saver rate to 2%... was originally attracted to Lloyds because of their 5% monthly saver....

    Bad luck, i guess?

    Thanks for your help!

Last Saturday I phoned Lloyds to open a 5% monthly saver only to be told the system was down and I should open the account at my local branch on the Monday. On Monday my local branch tells me that the rate had been reduced to 2%. I wrote to Lloyds complaints department and today received a phone call from them to offer me the interest after tax plus £5 as if I had saved £250 in my regular saver for a year. This worked out at £70 and is being paid into one of my Lloyds account, Good result I reckon !
  • We have been tryin for a year to make use of our vouchers.

I tried switching several months back, but cancelled it after 6 or so weeks as nothing had been switched, "there were problems with the details from my existing provider", it's a fax for heaven's sake, can't LLoyds read?

This is a old thread, may be the offer no longer exists? May be you could try asking if there are any available rooms before giving details of the voucher to see if it is that or not.
