on 20/12/2010 at 17.08 Thehut.com posted an update that they can't guarantee Christmas deliveries any more.
Does this need updating on the site?

I can't find any site that'll deliver to NI in time for Xmas0

Pretty much every site has closed orders for Xmas delivery0

Royal Mail last delivery date for 1st class post and 1st class recorded was suppose to be 21st. Took the parcel and was told it will be delivered after xmas. As last delivery dates changed to 20th. So used special delivery which they guarantee before xmas.
Posted parcel 17th 1st class recorded, showing on royal mail as progessing through the network.
All ebay items, hope the 17th one gets delivered before xmas. If it doesnt just hope he/she doesnt leave negative/neutral feedback.0 -
Just watched an advert on TV for Littlewoods if you order by 23rd they will deliver in time for Christmas2012 wins:

Except for what they describe as a "few" tricky areas, which is a LOT of places, including some barely affected by snow:

I wouldn't put much faith in that tbh. Isn't it better for companies to be honest and say they can't guarantee delivery before Xmad than risk annoying customers whose deliveries don't arrive in time.0 -

Indeed, seems pretty useless to me.
All the SE postcodes are, for example:
BN, BR, CR, CT, DA, GU, HP, KT, ME, MK, OX, PO, RG, RH, SL, SM, SO, TN, TW, UB, WD
Littlewoods are unaffected only in:
CT, HP, MK, and TW (some)
So basically the vast majority of areas they will possibly/probably not deliver in time for Christmas after all.0
