Two computers upstairs on internet, one with cat5 cable and the other wireless to a netgear wireless router then cat5 cable to virgin router on virgin media. Also Wii downstairs
Computers are in different rooms but within shoutable range, i.e. look at this web page I am looking at.
Is there an easy way of looking at the same web page on both computers at the same time or are we stuck with copying the URL and IMing it to each other?
Also Wii downstairs, computer upstairs, look at this page I am looking at on the Wii shopping channel.

Set up a shared folder on each machine, create a txt file within each folder, create a shortcut on each machine to the txt file on that machine, and to the txt file on the other machine.
Copy/paste URL to txt file
Quicker than IMing? Don't know, you tell us.0 -
Take a look at https://secure.logmein.com/UK/products/free/
You can also do the same thing with Windows remote destop and umpteen variants of VNC but I rather like Logmein so that's what I use to remote control (or view which is what you want) my own machines.0 -
VNC is free, Small easy to setup. Password if you want.
Also FUN... It opens a window on your pc with a copy of their screen, You see what they see
and... If you put your mouse inside the window you can control their mouse. cose windows move items
alter play lists etc.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
