Dont even go there - we had a belkin one and the lightening destroyed our connection to broadband - and we had to buy another one and another surge protector

I beg to differ! I had a modem and telephone blow during a storm a few years back. The other alternative is to unplug everything during a storm but a bit of a hassle I think!
