Can I upgrade an Advance Virgin Train ticket?
Hi all, back in September I made the most of the Virgin Trains £11 seat promo and booked New Year Manchester to London for me & hubby for £44 return.
As it's his 30th (and as I'm heavily pregnant) I'd like to upgrade these to First Class but I can't see a way of doing this on the website - is it possible? Their helpline is shut until Monday

Yes, but knowing Virgin Trains the cost will be the difference between standard and available First advance class tickets + £10 Admin fee per ticket, this will have to be done via their costumer services.
IIRC you can only upgrade standard Peak and Off Peak tickets on the train, but policies change from train company to train company so could be wrong.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
