Anybody had any dealings with HomeLet.co.uk?

I have been requested to submit information for a tenancy check to be run on me via HomeLet.

I just wondered if anybody had used them, could tell me what the process was, and whether there was anything I should be concerned about.

Any input would be very appreciated.

HomeLet are one of the biggest tenancy check and tenancy insurance companies around. Checks on me were done through them...no problems I am aware of. Are you expecting some issues?

Well, to be honest. There are two potential issues.

    1) I recently moved from being a permanent employee to a contractor, and don't have any company accounts. I have told the LL that I am a contractor now, and I have a letter from my last employer describing that I was employed there for over 10 years in senior roles, and also that I have done contract work for them. However, I am not sure what impact this might have on a HomeLet reference.

    2) I unfortunately had a dispute with my current landlord. It is complicated, but I didn't do anything to breach the contract or do any damage or anything like that. It was more that I annoyed him by enforcing my rights, and I believe that he could be vindictive if contacted, especially as he now has new tenants moving in and therefore it doesn't matter if he causes me a problem.

Ahh. Sorry I am not qualified to answer as my checks were very straightforward.
