Hi there
Before tax you should get paid £1916.66 after tax will depend on which tax code you are on - do you know which one?Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -

There is a separate section about tax questions0 -
Hi lky2k23,
I get paid £23,000 and receive £1444 a month after tax (£307) and NI.
Hope this helps,

I have for the purpose of this calculation, assumed you tax code is 503L and that you are not making any pension contributions.
Your gross pay should be £1917.00 approx
Your income tax/PAYE should be £308.00 approx
Your NI contrbution should be £165.00 approx
Therefore your net/take home pay should be £1444.00 approx
Although this is based on the above assumptions.
For the year this will calulate as
Gross £23,000
PAYE £3701.50
NI £1976.15
Net £17322.350
