  • Thank you - my eldest daughter is nearly 9 and I would love for her to read these as I was permanently engrossed in these and St Clares at her age.

Ooohh me too! Ive ordered them for my 10 year old, she doesnt read as much as I used to (computers, DVD'd etc) but I dont want her to miss out, especially on those midnight feasts lol.
  • I bought them for my daughter - a Christmas present but gave them to her early - she read them all in two weeks! Great buy just wish you could get good prices on box sets of St.Clares and Famous Five

aww no fair, my daughter is too young to appreciate these yet & only the other day my oldest asked me what my fav sets of books were when I was younger & I told him about Mallory towers, not so sure he would appreciate them though.

Anyonw know when these are back in stock at The Book People? Just tried ringing them on a number I got from saynoto0870.com but the woman said she couldn't put me through to customers services, and I'm not ringing on a 0870 number. Tried emailing them, but not expecting a reply as I mailed them a couple of months ago, and they still haven't got back to me!!
It's a shame really, cos otherwise their prices and service are excellent.

I read voraciously when i was younger and having read all my books and most of the suitable material from the library found her malory towers and st clare's books decent enough. The chalet school are the real ones to start if you want a collection to tuck into however!

lol shes only 5 at the moment so her reading isnt up to mallory towers standards yet. I'll give her a couple of years then buy her them. My oldest is 9 now & always has his nose in a book but mallory towers is a "girly" so he doesnt want them.
