Microsoft Office Product Key help

Hi all
I purchased a Microsoft Office package a couple of years ago from the Student website - think it was about £40.
At the same time I purchased the back up CD set.
I am now using a new computer and wanted to put the Office onto it - yet it says I need the 25 character product key and I cannot find it anywhere - the little certificate of authenticity doesn't have a 25 character key on it, although it has plenty of other numbers?
Anyone have any ideas please ? The contact numbers for Microsoft are all in the US.

Do you still have access to the computer that you originally installed Office on to?
If so, install and run this program (this link will take you to a download page)
http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/
and it will show you the 25 digit code.
You should of course make sure that the licence agreement that covers the version of Office that you purchased will allow you to put it on multiple computers.0 -
I have the CD version and the product key is on a label on the inside of the CD case
but not sure how to get it if you got yours off the internet0 -

Call them on 0800 018 8354 and say the key label is damaged / unreadable0

The disk's plastic sleeve should have a yellow sticker on it.
However, if you sold on the computer (you say you don't have it anymore), it could be that the new owner owns the licence too...0
